DESCRIPTION:
The country lodge Locanda Punta d’Acu is located in the hearth of Costa Smeralda, just few minutes from Arzachena and the sandy beaches of north east Sardinia. The property nestles in unspoilt countryside of majestic granite where the relaxing sound of the countryside is a magnificent antidote to the sounds and stresses of the city.
It is close to the historical “Tombs of the Giants” and a site of military towers known as nuraghe, mysterious remains of former inhabitants.
The delicious scents of blackcurrant and rosemary, typical of this part of the Mediterranean, blend delightfully in this place where man and nature find a timeless balance.
We restored the tipical country houses of the property and installed all the comforts and trappings of today's modern lifestyle.
All bedrooms are individually furnished and have their own distinctive personalities. They are provided with all the facilities you would expect for a pleasant and relaxing overnight stay: colour TV sat, direct dial telephone, internet access, bath with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, patio with table and chairs.
There are 5 standard rooms and 1 Suite. This includes a sitting corner with 2 sofa beds and a romantic chimney.
The restaurant is our gem. Whether it’s starting the day with our full breakfast or a light lunch on the terrace or a memorable evening meal, accompanied by a well-chosen wine from our extensive wine list, you’ll find the food service and atmosphere right for every occasion.
A feature of Locanda Punta d’Acu is the small Beauty center. Surrounded by the beautiful garden is the ideal place to relax with an open air whirlpool, sauna and steam bath, yoga, shiatsu and even a personal trainer if requested.
We believe that a holiday or short break here should be a rest, allowing you to unwind, absorb the very distinct local flavour of the area, and enjoy an atmosphere of quiet contemplation and feeling of wellbeing.
There is a policy of no smoking throughout the hotel.
