DESCRIPTION:
La Caletta is a seaside resort, about 7 kilometres from Siniscola, on the eastern coast.A beautiful coast tower (XVI century) overlooks the village, which has a well equipped tourist harbour. Southwards, a bit further on from the centre, there are the Berchida river (that like the most part of the Sardinian rivers, is often dry), and the homonymous pond. Not far from here, near the village of Lula, the Monte Albo rises, (a picturesque calcareous rock). Its highest peaks are Monte Turuddò and Punta Catirina (1127 metres). |
