ARCHAEOLOGY

In the valley called Antas, you can visit the omonym temple, dedicated to the God Sardus Pater, quarries and a nuragic village. The temple, of which we can observe the substantial rests partly of the base and of the walls perimetric, some columns and some piece of mosaic, were built between the 27 b.C. and 14 AD. The temple punic was built on a calcareous breakthrough around which was built a sacellum. To the inside the altar was raised, probably to open sky, constituted by a big rock delimited by walls of mud and stone of calcare. The building, directed as that punic, he is constituted by a big stairway, that covers the temple almost entirely punic, of 17 meters for 9 and from a platform of 24 meters for 10.
